Terms of Service

1. The service

Callsign provides an automated voice assistant that answers inbound calls on your business number, captures caller and job details, answers questions from the information you provide, and can transfer urgent calls to your nominated number. We set up, configure, and maintain the service for you as a managed service.

2. Commercial terms

Any setup, subscription, fair-use, cancellation, and billing terms are provided in writing before a client activates the service. Joining the Founding Crew does not create a purchase obligation or a client agreement.

3. Your responsibilities

  • Provide accurate business information (services, prices, service areas, hours) and tell us when it changes.
  • Configure call forwarding as instructed (forward on no-answer/busy — not unconditional forwarding).
  • Follow up captured leads — we capture and deliver them; winning the job is yours.
  • Comply with any obligation to inform callers of call recording where required.

4. Service limits and liability

  • The assistant answers from the information you approve. It confirms booking requests; final acceptance of any job, quote, or commitment rests with you.
  • We aim for continuous availability but depend on telephony carriers and cloud providers; we are not liable for outages beyond our reasonable control. If the service is down, calls follow your normal no-answer behaviour (voicemail).
  • To the extent permitted by law (including the Australian Consumer Law, whose guarantees are not excluded), our total liability in any 12-month period is capped at the fees you paid in that period. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, including the value of any missed or mishandled job.

5. Data

Call recordings, transcripts, and captured details are handled per our Privacy Policy. Your business configuration and call data remain yours; we use them only to operate and improve your service.

6. Termination

You may cancel any time from your next billing date. We may suspend or terminate the service for non-payment or misuse (including unlawful use of call handling), with notice where practicable. On termination we disable your number's forwarding target and delete call data within 90 days.

7. General

These terms are governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia. We may update these terms with 30 days' notice by email; continued use after that constitutes acceptance. Questions: hello@callsign.au.
